2025 Couples club Champions: Chris & Debi Russell
On September 13th and 14th, we held an exciting two-day Couples Club Championship. The competition was intense, with twelve teams separated by just eight strokes after day one. By the end of the second round, three couples were tied for first place, sending us straight into a playoff featuring Pete & Lisa Mulvaney, Chris & Debi Russell, and defending champions Ted & Priscilla Douglas.
After two playoff holes, Chris & Debi and Ted & Priscilla remained in contention. However, with darkness setting in after the next tee shot, play was suspended. The playoff resumed on Sunday, October 19th, and after five thrilling holes, Chris Russell drained an incredible birdie putt to capture the championship for Team Russell!
